Honored to Present:
The Sixth Annual
Veteran’s Day Parade!
SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH - EUGENE OREGON -
1 PM
The Eugene Veteran's Day Parade is in it's 5th year and growing quite large. We ask that our NCWC membership take part in this enjoyable parade through downtown Eugene. Civilians are invited to walk along the route. Staging for our military & civilian marchers will be done at the Lane County Fairgrounds The parade number for the Marching members is ____. Marchers of all branches can park close to the staging area (see map).
Mounted military members should plan on parking their trailers at Lane County Fairgrounds. The equestrian parade number is ____ and you will meet us all in the parking lot at 11 o'clock.
There will be approximately 120 entries, including an Abrams tank, and a fly over by 2 F-18 fighter jets. Television coverage will be taking place also, so this is a good opportunity to get out and show the public in the southern valley something about our hobby, and to honor those veterans who have served and continue to serve. This area is populated by thousands who are proud of our veterans and who turn out to support them and their accomplishments. If you are a veteran please feel free to wear your medals proudly.
