NCWC MEMBERSHIP
We have page links where you can get information on our
member groups and contact person for both Union and Confederate military units as well as
our Civilian associations. If you wish to join a unit or get information on them we
recommend that you contact its commander or representative. If you wish to join the
NCWC you must belong to one of the member units first.
Once your membership is established within a military or
civilian unit you will be required to join the NCWC if you intend to reenact the NCWC
events. You must sign a liability waver and take safety tests before participating
at these battle reenactments. If you are a mounted reenactor you must pass the horse
safety testing also. If you are a member of another organization of reenactors who
have a reciprocal agreement with the NCWC you will also be allowed to take part. If
you are an independent reenactor you must be under the command of a unit associated with
our organization and either join the unit and the NCWC or pay special fees per event.
Dues to join the NCWC is $15 per year for a single
membership and $30 for a family living in the same household. Your dues cover the
cost of the events and provide you with a monthly newsletter.
Meetings of the NCWC Board of Directors occur on the third
Thursday of each month. The meetings are held at Izzy's Pizza in
Wilsonville and start at 6:30 PM.
