EVENT DETAILS

Location: Willamette Mission State Park, Keizer, Oregon  (map/directions)

Dates: July 4-7, 2012  (Thursday thru Sunday)

Summary: As we celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, we invite you to experience the smoke and thunder of battle, and visit the camps of soldiers and civilians of the 1860’s at Willamette Mission State Park. We anticipate over 700 reenactors presenting both the realities of war, and everyday life of soldiers and their families in 1863. We will have special demonstrations throughout the day. On Sunday we will have a special visit by President Abraham Lincoln who will be visiting the camps and reviewing the troops, and presenting a ton hall meeting on Sunday. Bleachers are available, but you can bring your lawn chairs. Concessions are also available throughout the day.

Admission: Adults: $8
                    Seniors 55+, Students*:
$5   (*through High School with Student ID)
                    Children under 6: Free
